why?

It was the first time Mummy bring along, Daddy, Topaz and Orion to see gynae after carrying the baby for 4-5 months! Nene was going along with us.

Topaz was very excited as Mummy told him he can "see" the baby. After the gynae, Dr Susanan Huang examine Mummy, she also confirmed the sex of the baby!. she announced firmly that "it is a Boy!" and she continued " i hardly made any mistake in the sex of the baby, it is a boy!"

Mummy and Daddy have expected it to be a boy.. Mummy has 3 brothers and 8 Uncles! Daddy has 2 brothers too! We knew the chance to have baby girl is very slim. Anyway, we are alright with 3 boys as they are our precious!

But, something went wrong..... Mummy noticed that Topaz's eyes turned red and suddenly he was so quiet. Oh! He is very sad!! Daddy and Mummy had to comfort him!!

He was very upset because it is a baby brother!! He was worry that his "Ta Qui" (Mummy's eldest brother) will take away his baby brother as Topaz had a deal with his "Ta qui" that if it is a boy then "Ta Qui" will take the baby away!!

It took us sometime to comfort him, we even called Mama to comfort him.

Topaz: "Why? Why like that?" then he cried. We know he prayed everynight for a baby girl so "Ta qui" cannot take away the baby!

It was a very meaningful day for Topaz, Mummy hopes he can learn from this lesson that don't simply give any promise to anyone!!

I know how to make money!!

Last night Daddy, Mummy, Nene, Topaz and Orion were out for Christmas shopping. We passedby Tropicana Club house to make U Turn.
Mummy: Topaz this area nice to stay or not?
Topaz: Yes, very nice, we can play golf here any time!
Mummy: Can you buy me a house in this area when you grow up?
Topaz: Yes. Mummy but why you not buy now?
Mummy: Need a lot of money!
Topaz: Harr!! I know how to make money!!!
Mummy: (wow again??) DON'T TELL ME you are going to shot the money to make more
money as what pink panther did!!! OR.... Do puppet show for children to collect RM2
from each of them since they all love it!!!!
Topaz: NO!! NO (Topaz was laughing!!) I know the new way to make money!!!
Mummy: WHAT is that!!!!
Topaz: you can sit outside the house when you are old and people will give you mone!!!!
Mummy: WHATTTTTT??? You are not going to take care of me??
Topaz: No mummy, I will take care of you!! I will give you food when you are old!!!

Mummy really does not like this idea!!! Poor Mummy!! However, Mummy does admit that Topaz is very good boy... it happened on the same night....

After shopped for 1 hour plus... all of us were tired. We went to "Oxxk-oxxk" for tea and something light for Topaz and Orion. Mummy ordered sandwich (with cheese and ham, Topaz loves it). however, Topaz couldnot finish it.

Mummy: Topaz, do you like this sandwich?
Topaz: Yes.
Mummy: Do you know this sandwich is very expensive?
Topaz: Really? How much?
Mummy: RM7.90!!
Topaz: Mummy next time you tell me if expensive then I will choose another one!!
Mummy: Ok, next time we will choose another one!!

... after meal we went to coldstorage to get eggs....
Topaz: Mummy can I buy this bag of sweet?
Daddy: How much?
Topaz: I think is 1.99.
Topaz brought Mummy and Daddy to the shelf...
Daddy: Topaz this is 21.99 not 1.99!!!
Topaz: No, Daddy not this!!! thatone Daddy!!
Daddy: Oh it is 9.99 not 1.99!!
Topaz: Expensive??
Mummy: Yes!! For a bag of sweet it is expensive!!!
Topaz: ok.
Topaz thereafter put the sweet back to the shelf!!

See that's mummy's boy!!!

This is not Christmas Present!!

Daddy and mummy were busy to shop for christmas present for all our loves one on last weekend.

We decided to get Topaz mordern "Gasing" as Christmas present which he wanted for long cos his Jeriel Kor Kor also has. Topaz wants to play with his Jeriel Kor kor.

Topaz: This is not Christmas Present, Mummy
Mummy: You don';t want this as Christmas Present?
Topaz: I don;t want.
Mummy: ok then we put it back to the shelve.
Topaz: NO!! I don;t want this as Christmas present but I want this.
Mummy: ??? What do you mean?
Topaz: Christmas present must be a surprise and something i don;t know what is it.
Mummy: Ok then we can put it back then I will choose another present for you.
Topaz: NO!! I want this toy!! You can just buy this toy for me but not for Christmas then I can open it now!!

Finally, mummy understand what's the reason behind it!! He just cannot wait for Christmas to open this present!!

Time to "hang" Christmas Tree

Christmas is around the corner. Daddy has decided to put up our 10 feet tall Christmas Tree at night. It was an excited night for Topaz.

Topaz: Mama, tonight Daddy and I will hang Christmas Tree!!
Mummy: Oh!! you want to "hang" Christmas Tree?
Topaz: No No No... cannot hang... put up the Tree!! haaa....

Daddy came home late, he took his dinner only after 8 p.m. After a "long wait" for Topaz, Daddy, Topaz and of course our lovely little Orion started put up the Christmas Tree. Topaz can now put up all the branches. He is really a good helper for Daddy!! Of course Orion had done his part too by mixed up around all the branches (all braches have alphabets on them) and carrying them around! Mummy just sitting on the sofa gave instruction to Orion in order to control damage.

Time flies, Daddy and Mummy still remember Topaz cannot really help Daddy to put up the tree at all last year. Not to say our little Orion.

10.11.2010 will be the night to put lights and ornaments on the tree!! Topaz's 1st Christmas Tree....that he put up himself.

Happy Birthday to our 10 feet Christmas Tree!! You have been with us for 2nd Christmas!!

I do not spend too much time on computer

Few nights ago, mummy, daddy, Topaz and Orion were in the bedroom as it was the time for kids to sleep!!

Topaz, Orion and Mummy were on bed but Daddy was on his lovely sofa palying with PSP games.
Mummy: Topaz, why your Daddy always like to play games?
Topaz : Ya. Why Daddy always looking at the computer and not LOOK AT Mummy?
Mummy: (hee..) You are right Topaz!!
Topaz : I do not spend too much on computer! I go to school, eat lunch, day care and come
home, take bath, eat dinner, I spend time with Orion as well!! I do not look at
computer for too long!!
Mummy: (LOL) You are a very good boy and good kokor!!!

How do you know?

A week ago, Topaz was not feeling well and he followed mama who was sending nene to see dentist together with Orion. On the way back, Mama passed by Assunta Hospital.
Mama: Topaz, this is Assunta Hospital. This is where your daddy was born!
Topaz: How do you know, Mama? Have you been to there? How come you know that?
Mama:....har har....

How come Topaz does not know that Mama is Daddy's Mummy?? Harrr...

I want to be a police's boss!

Mummy is very busy with her works since last few weeks (maybe months).
A week ago, it was a very tiring night. Mummy was lying down with Topaz.
Mummy: Mummy is so tire. Why Mummy works so hard and does not get the same pay like your daddy?
Topaz: It is because you don't work hard?
Mummy: No! Mummy works very hard. Same as your daddy. It is because supply and demand!
Topaz: What is supply and demand?
Mummy: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Topaz: I want to be a police's boss.
Mummy: Police's boss? not policeman?
Topaz: Police Boss. Mummy what is supply and demand?
Mummy: Mmmm... if there are 5 people want to buy a packet of Soya bean like your mummy, daddy, mama, orion, Jeriel Kokor.. then all of us will fight for it and pay more. Mummy will pay RM1, daddy will pay RM1,50, Mama will pay RM2.00... But if there are 5 packets of soya bean but only Topaz wants to buy, then Topaz will only pay for the price asked. so who you want to be?
Topaz: I want to be a policeman!
Mummy was so annoyed: What? Policeman? do you know that policeman is just like 5 packets of soya bean but police's boss is like one packet of soya bean!! who you want to be?
Topaz: Policeman!
Mummy: Why??
Topaz: We cannot fight! we should share the packet of soya bean, Mummy....

Maybe he is right... or mummy's example is too bad.

Step Children

Last night, Mummy, Daddy, Topaz and orion went for Movie "Shrek". It was so funny. all of us enjoy the movie. We pick up USA Yee Po after the movie. While we are waiting for USA Yee Po, Mummy and Daddy were talking about Step children.
Topaz: Mummy, what is "Step children"
Daddy:"Step Children" mean when Daddy die and Mummy married to new Daddy then you and
orion are step children for the new Daddy"
Topaz: Mummy who youy will marry after Daddy die?
Mummy: I will let you know when Daddy die.
Topaz: No, tell me now!!
Mummy: How about marry to your Daddy?
Topaz: Mummy, you cannot marry to Daddy when Daddy die!
Mummy: ok, ok...
Topaz: Mummy, will you marry me or Orion when Daddy die?
Mummy: How can I marry my own children?
Topaz: When Daddy die, me and Orion both grow up already, will you marry me or Orion?
Mummy: Har!!! when you both groww up... Mummy also old already!!!
the conversation stop when USA Ye Po coming out from the house and walking toward our car........

How to train your dragon

Last night, it was Monday night, Daddy, Mummy and Topaz went for a movie "How to train your Dragon".

On the way to Tropicana City, Topaz was so excited and asked...
Topaz: Mumy what is the meaning of "train"?
Mummy: hmm..
Topaz: I know! It is to teach the dragon to bath and to eat!
Mummy was so surprised.
Mummy:Who told you that?
Topaz: Mama told me to train dragon is to teach dragon like how to bath and how to eat.

In the mall, while waiting for the movie (movie started at 9.00p.m and we had arrived there at 7.30p.m.), we went for our dinner. Topaz was jumping up and down, he was so excited of the movie and cannot even wait for it to start.

We bought popcorn after the dinner, it was around 8.30 p.m., Topaz took one and looked at Mummy and said: I take one only."

We were there since 8.30p.m. but the worker only allowed us to go in 10 mins before the movie starts. While waiting for the movie, Mummy took one popcorn, Topaz looked at Mummy and said: "Mummy, you can only take one, can only eat when the movie starts." Seems like Mummy need to learn a lot of things from her little precious boy!

When the movie was started, Topaz was shouted in the Cinema and keep making noise that he was so scared. Shhhh.. that's all Mummy and Daddy told him besides hugging him. He did not fall asleep and he even enjoyed the movie. When it was finished. Topaz said loudly "I like this Movie!!". Daddy and Mummy were smiling at each other, maybe that's all we wanted to hear from him. It really make our money and time spent worth.

Topaz was sleeping in the car on our way back home. It must be very tiring day for him.

Orion

Orion is a very cheeky and cute boy.

He is almost 2 but he is so small size just like 1 year old boy. He runs here and there, climbs up and down. He loves bananas so much that he will climb on table and enjoy bananas on table while mama was busy in the kitchen.

He loves to follow what his Tai Kokor does includes laying on floor to watch TV. He also loves to disturb his Tai Kokor by sleeping on top of him, biting him when he is angry and kissing him whenever he wants to. In fact, Orion kisses all of us all the times especially his daddy! Daddy hardly scolds him as he always being so lovely to daddy. Mummy would said he plays his card right.

He refuses to drink milk especially mummy is the one who feeds him. Mummy has to "lock" him in the room, after crying for around 1 minute, he will surrender and finish his milk. Same to his porridge and cereal. Of course, he enjoys our tasty food.

He always come out from the car seat, this definitely unlike his brother who always cry but unable to come out the car seat all by himself. Maybe is the size....

He woke up in the middle of the night, smiled to Mummy and even play with Mummy..... Mummy had to sing song to make him sleep....and it happend not one or two.... ai...

I want a mei mei...

Few months ago...
Topaz: Mummy, I want a mei mei... I prayed to God for a mei mei..
Mummy: Why you want a mei mei? Why not di di?
Topaz: Because I see Ariel mei mei so cute and pretty!!
Mummy: How about Orion? Isn't that Orion cute? Do you love orion?
Topaz: Yes!! I love Orion! he is so cute!! But I have di di already...
Mummy: Ok..ok.. mummy will try ...
Topaz: Mummy promise is a promise.. you have promise to give me a mei mei!! (he was so happy!!)
Mummy: No! I did not promise to give you mei mei but I will try to have another baby. whther is a mei mei or didi you need to ask God.
Topaz: Jessus, I want a mei mei, thank you Jessus. In the name of Jessus Amen.

18.12.2009-Save Money

Mummy always tell Topaz must buy something that he needs and not something he wants. To make it easy, Mummy always tell him must save money then he have money go to USA to visit Yee Po for white Christmas. And it helps to make Topaz understand that it is important to save money for something. However... it may not turn out the way Mummy wants.....

Aunty Hui Yee is visiting Mummy in KL. Topaz and Hui Yee were waiting for Mummy and Daddy in car when they went in a shop to get something.
Topaz was looking at the coldstorage's booklet. he pointed at somw weet and ask Aunty Hui Yee.
Topaz: Can you buy this for me?
Hui Yee: This sweet?
Topaz: Yes. Can you buy this for me? My mummy wants to save money so she cannot buy for
me.

25.09.2009 Come back home earlier!!

It was before Topaz's alarm clock rang, Topaz was standing besides Orion's bed to wake me up. Suddenly, the alarm clock rang. it was 6.30 a.m. Topaz turned off the alarm clock and followed Mummy to go to downstairs.

Topaz: "Good Morning, Mama!!"
Mama was preparing Topaz's breakfast in the dry kitchen. Seems like everyone was early!
Mama: "Good Morning, Topaz!"

As usual, Mama was getting ready for Topaz to go to school. The only different was that it was Mummy's turn to send Topaz to kindy. Traffic was clear and Mummy was managed to reach office earlier after sent Topaz to school yesterday.

It was drizzling, Mummy's car was parked along the road side. Topaz was so excited and requested to use his Spiderman Umbrella. It was a small umbrella for kids. He had waited for this opportunity for long. Mama passed the Spiderman Umbrella to him. Mummy had no choice but to share this small umbrella with Topaz. Ai....

Mummy and Topaz were chit chating in car on the journey to his Kindy.

Topaz: Mummy, I don;t know what is your work place.
Mummy: Ok, I will bring you to see.
Topaz: Mummy, when I am in 5 year old class, you move your work place near my school.
Mummy: hmm.. change job??hmm... (goodness me, Mummy just changed job on 15.06.2009!!)
Topaz: Mummy, I don;t want to stay too long in school.
Mummy: You want to stay half day instead of full day?
Topaz: Yes. That's what I want! Mummy.
Mummy: Ok, I will put you in half day in school only.
Topaz: Ok. you can pick me up?
Mummy: Yes., I will try to pick you up.
Topaz: Ok. Thank you Mummy.

Suddenly, Mummy reliased that she turned into wrong way.
Mumm:"Ai wrong way..."
Topaz: "Yes, wrong way again Mummy!!"
Mummy: "Ya.. Mummy always go wrong way..."
Topaz:"Yes....wrong way."
Mummy: Never mind I use another way. and turn.."
Topaz: "Yes turn right!"
Mummy: Wow you regconize the way?"
Topaz" Yes, Mama told me."
Mummy: "Why? Mama always goes wrong way?
Topaz: "No. Mama goes right way! she will bring me one round. Cannot go wrong way, waste
petrol"
Mummy" Ok.......(waste petrol?? How old are him?? waste petrol..ai...)...

After reached the kindy, it was still early, 7.20 am. The kindy's gate was closed. Mummy had to use the "Spiderman Umbrella" to cover Topaz and walked into the compound with Topaz.

Topaz: Mummy, got shade already!!
Mummy: Ok, Bye Topaz.
Topaz: Bye Mummy.
Topaz shouted: Mummy, come back earlier from work!!
Mummy: Ok.

Topaz then shouted again:"Mummy rememebr to come back earlier when it is sunrise!!!"

Oh no!! it was so loud! A man was keep looking at Topaz and Mummy... Mummy was wonder what's in this man's mind? Maybe...."Why this mummy always come back home late?" "No time for this so cute child?"

Mummy walked as fast as possible to her car and drove off to work. It was a wonderful day for Mummy except the Spiderman and the Man....

How much is your bed sheet?

Mummy bought a new bed sheet for Topaz few weeks ago after Topaz sleeps in Topaz's and Orion's room. The bed sheet was choosen by Topaz himself- Tweenty bird's bed sheet as he did not want any animals' bed sheet as "they will bite me!!" said Topaz.

This was what Mama told Mummy.

Mama: Topaz, you got a new bed sheet?
Topaz: Yes. Mummy bought me.
Mama: How much is the bed sheet?
Topaz: hmm.. I don't know. Mummy paid for it....but it is not expensive.
Topaz said again: Mama, do you know what is not expensive?
then he continued: It means Mummy can afford it!

29-08-2009 Topaz's and Orion's room

Topaz is making a lot of noise that he wants to sleep in Topaz's and Orion's room!

Mummy asked Daddy to put beds in their room on 29-08-2009. Daddy initially refused as he said Topaz will not sleep in the room!! Mummy told Daddy it was Topaz's wish....

After Daddy confirmed with Topaz then Mummy, Daddy and Mama have to do start our project to re-arrange the room. We put 2 beds in the room, one for Topaz and one for Orion.

The next morning, 30-08-2009, Mummy wake Topaz up and told him than he is so brave can sleep alone in the room.

Topaz: Where is Orion?

Har!! he is expected his brother to sleep with him!!

Topaz has been sleeping in the room since then..... by himslef.

31-08-2009 TV remote control

Hurray!! Extra "rest day" (no need to go to office). Daddy and Mummy were sitting on the sofa. Daddy: Do you know your younger son very smart?

Mummy: Ya, (Of course!! That's my boy!! :) ). Why you said that?
Daddy: He took away the TV remote control from Topaz!
Mummy: Not something new! He loves to take away the TV remote control from his brother
and keep pressing the buttons. This Topaz will then complaint to me! And Orion will laugh! He just loves to do this!
Daddy: But Orion took the remote control from Topaz then he will rum away and Topaz will
chase after him!
Mummy: Oh.. this is something new!! I did not know that both of them can play chasing game!!
Hmm.... I believe it is because I have taught Topaz how to turn to his favourite
channel after Orion changed it. Since then, Topaz did not make any noise and just take
back the remote control from Orion!! No wonder Orion needs to run away from his
Korkor!!

Orion is only 1 year and 2 months plus can even think how to play with his korkor. 1st took away the remote control, 2nd run away and make korkor chases after him!!

09-08-2009 it is alright!

Topaz, Orion and mummy were watching TV in the hall. Suddenly,
Topaz screamed: "Ai!!! Orion bites me!!!"
Then he cried.

Orion now has around 16 teeh (he refuses to open his mounth to let mummy count!).

Then Mummy has to comfort Korkor as it is really painful if bite by Orion! Mummy has experience it before.

At night, while Mummy put Topaz to his bed to sleep. mummy was playing with Orion. Mummy "bites" Orion fingers! Orion knows and he pull his fingers backward.

Topaz asked: "Mummy, what are you doing?" he looked so puzzle..
Mummy cheecky and said" Biting didi's fingers"
Topaz was so annoyed and said" No! Mumy don;t do it!"
Mummy asked "Why not? did bite you this morning!"
Topaz very serious and said" It is alright, Mummy. It is fine! Don;t bite didi!"
Mummy continued: "But did bite you, so I also must bite didi!!"
Topaz said: Mummy, you taught is wrong! Cannot bite didi!!"

Hee... so Mummy has learnt lesson from Topaz Ta Kokor!!

Topaz loves Orion very much that he refused Mummy throw didi away eventhough he complaints didi very naughty!!

Hmmm... what kind of mummy is this? Bite son's fingers and throw him away?? Har!!

May 2009 sunset, sunrise

Topaz always confuse with sunset, sunrise....

It may because he wakes up at 7a.m and it is still "Sunset".... (the sky still dark).

Everyday, before Mummy leaves the house to go to work, he will remind Mummy..

Topaz: Mummy you come back early!!!
Mummy: Ok!
Topaz: Come back when sunrise!!!

?? Sunrise!!That's mean Mummy can only come back in the morning?

Mummy: Sunrise?
Topaz: Yes! Sunrise! beore the sky is dark!
Mummy: Ok. I will come back fast fast.
Topaz: No! It is wrong!
Mummy: Wrong?
Topaz: Coma back fast when no traffic and slow when traffic jam!
Mummy:...hmm... ok.

15.06.2009-I know why mummy change job

Mummy started her new job on 15.06.2009 after worked with the ex firm for 6 1/2 years.

Mummy was getting ready to go to work for the first day. It was about 7.20a.m. and it was bit late as Mummy has to travel to KL from PJ.

While Mummy rushed to go out from the house, Mummy over heard the conversation between Mama and Topaz.

Mama: Mummy is going to work in a new company. She has changed job.
Topaz: Change Job? Why?
Mama: hmm.. because...
Topaz : Har! I know why!!
Mama: Why?
Topaz: Old job not much work to do, cannot pay mummy well. The new job has more work to do
so they can pay mummy well!!

Mummy really no comment on this.... :-(

05-06-2009 ZOO

Daddy and Mummy were on leave on 5/6/2009 to bring Topaz to Zoo Negara.

Topaz can recognise A-Z but not word. He can only spell:
COCONUT and TOPAZ.

ZOO is the third word that he now know how to spell after the Zoo's trip. He is now making noise wants to go to ZOO and not Zoo.

Even daddy and Mummy have warned him not to go too near to the animals. He always said : "I am strong!! I can fight with all the animal!!" he showed the actions of fighting!

However, when we bring him near the animals, even cows, he was so scared and dare not go near the animals.

When we saw cows....
Mummy: Why so scared?
Topaz: The animals are big!
Mummy: But you are strong and can fight with all the animals?

Mummy likes to tease with Topaz...
Topaz: But they are very tall and big!!

When we saw Zebras....
Mummy: Let's go near the Zebras
Topaz: NO!!!
Mummy: Why? You scared?

Hee....again, Mummy teased Topaz.
Topaz: No! I can fight... but there is a big drain there! We cannot go near the Zebra!!! Let's go!
Topaz has 1001 excuses for thing that he does not want to do....

We visited almost all the animals in the Zoo except those houses doing renovation and some even went for school holiday like penguins. We spent almost one whole day and picnic in the Zoo. We had burgers, biscuits, bread and juice with ice under the hot sun for our lunch.

We always watched Multi Animals Show. Parrots and seal lions showed off their telents. Orion was so excited and kept making noise and waved his hand!!
It was a nice trip.
