18.12.2009-Save Money

Mummy always tell Topaz must buy something that he needs and not something he wants. To make it easy, Mummy always tell him must save money then he have money go to USA to visit Yee Po for white Christmas. And it helps to make Topaz understand that it is important to save money for something. However... it may not turn out the way Mummy wants.....

Aunty Hui Yee is visiting Mummy in KL. Topaz and Hui Yee were waiting for Mummy and Daddy in car when they went in a shop to get something.
Topaz was looking at the coldstorage's booklet. he pointed at somw weet and ask Aunty Hui Yee.
Topaz: Can you buy this for me?
Hui Yee: This sweet?
Topaz: Yes. Can you buy this for me? My mummy wants to save money so she cannot buy for
me.

25.09.2009 Come back home earlier!!

It was before Topaz's alarm clock rang, Topaz was standing besides Orion's bed to wake me up. Suddenly, the alarm clock rang. it was 6.30 a.m. Topaz turned off the alarm clock and followed Mummy to go to downstairs.

Topaz: "Good Morning, Mama!!"
Mama was preparing Topaz's breakfast in the dry kitchen. Seems like everyone was early!
Mama: "Good Morning, Topaz!"

As usual, Mama was getting ready for Topaz to go to school. The only different was that it was Mummy's turn to send Topaz to kindy. Traffic was clear and Mummy was managed to reach office earlier after sent Topaz to school yesterday.

It was drizzling, Mummy's car was parked along the road side. Topaz was so excited and requested to use his Spiderman Umbrella. It was a small umbrella for kids. He had waited for this opportunity for long. Mama passed the Spiderman Umbrella to him. Mummy had no choice but to share this small umbrella with Topaz. Ai....

Mummy and Topaz were chit chating in car on the journey to his Kindy.

Topaz: Mummy, I don;t know what is your work place.
Mummy: Ok, I will bring you to see.
Topaz: Mummy, when I am in 5 year old class, you move your work place near my school.
Mummy: hmm.. change job??hmm... (goodness me, Mummy just changed job on 15.06.2009!!)
Topaz: Mummy, I don;t want to stay too long in school.
Mummy: You want to stay half day instead of full day?
Topaz: Yes. That's what I want! Mummy.
Mummy: Ok, I will put you in half day in school only.
Topaz: Ok. you can pick me up?
Mummy: Yes., I will try to pick you up.
Topaz: Ok. Thank you Mummy.

Suddenly, Mummy reliased that she turned into wrong way.
Mumm:"Ai wrong way..."
Topaz: "Yes, wrong way again Mummy!!"
Mummy: "Ya.. Mummy always go wrong way..."
Topaz:"Yes....wrong way."
Mummy: Never mind I use another way. and turn.."
Topaz: "Yes turn right!"
Mummy: Wow you regconize the way?"
Topaz" Yes, Mama told me."
Mummy: "Why? Mama always goes wrong way?
Topaz: "No. Mama goes right way! she will bring me one round. Cannot go wrong way, waste
petrol"
Mummy" Ok.......(waste petrol?? How old are him?? waste petrol..ai...)...

After reached the kindy, it was still early, 7.20 am. The kindy's gate was closed. Mummy had to use the "Spiderman Umbrella" to cover Topaz and walked into the compound with Topaz.

Topaz: Mummy, got shade already!!
Mummy: Ok, Bye Topaz.
Topaz: Bye Mummy.
Topaz shouted: Mummy, come back earlier from work!!
Mummy: Ok.

Topaz then shouted again:"Mummy rememebr to come back earlier when it is sunrise!!!"

Oh no!! it was so loud! A man was keep looking at Topaz and Mummy... Mummy was wonder what's in this man's mind? Maybe...."Why this mummy always come back home late?" "No time for this so cute child?"

Mummy walked as fast as possible to her car and drove off to work. It was a wonderful day for Mummy except the Spiderman and the Man....

How much is your bed sheet?

Mummy bought a new bed sheet for Topaz few weeks ago after Topaz sleeps in Topaz's and Orion's room. The bed sheet was choosen by Topaz himself- Tweenty bird's bed sheet as he did not want any animals' bed sheet as "they will bite me!!" said Topaz.

This was what Mama told Mummy.

Mama: Topaz, you got a new bed sheet?
Topaz: Yes. Mummy bought me.
Mama: How much is the bed sheet?
Topaz: hmm.. I don't know. Mummy paid for it....but it is not expensive.
Topaz said again: Mama, do you know what is not expensive?
then he continued: It means Mummy can afford it!

29-08-2009 Topaz's and Orion's room

Topaz is making a lot of noise that he wants to sleep in Topaz's and Orion's room!

Mummy asked Daddy to put beds in their room on 29-08-2009. Daddy initially refused as he said Topaz will not sleep in the room!! Mummy told Daddy it was Topaz's wish....

After Daddy confirmed with Topaz then Mummy, Daddy and Mama have to do start our project to re-arrange the room. We put 2 beds in the room, one for Topaz and one for Orion.

The next morning, 30-08-2009, Mummy wake Topaz up and told him than he is so brave can sleep alone in the room.

Topaz: Where is Orion?

Har!! he is expected his brother to sleep with him!!

Topaz has been sleeping in the room since then..... by himslef.

31-08-2009 TV remote control

Hurray!! Extra "rest day" (no need to go to office). Daddy and Mummy were sitting on the sofa. Daddy: Do you know your younger son very smart?

Mummy: Ya, (Of course!! That's my boy!! :) ). Why you said that?
Daddy: He took away the TV remote control from Topaz!
Mummy: Not something new! He loves to take away the TV remote control from his brother
and keep pressing the buttons. This Topaz will then complaint to me! And Orion will laugh! He just loves to do this!
Daddy: But Orion took the remote control from Topaz then he will rum away and Topaz will
chase after him!
Mummy: Oh.. this is something new!! I did not know that both of them can play chasing game!!
Hmm.... I believe it is because I have taught Topaz how to turn to his favourite
channel after Orion changed it. Since then, Topaz did not make any noise and just take
back the remote control from Orion!! No wonder Orion needs to run away from his
Korkor!!

Orion is only 1 year and 2 months plus can even think how to play with his korkor. 1st took away the remote control, 2nd run away and make korkor chases after him!!

09-08-2009 it is alright!

Topaz, Orion and mummy were watching TV in the hall. Suddenly,
Topaz screamed: "Ai!!! Orion bites me!!!"
Then he cried.

Orion now has around 16 teeh (he refuses to open his mounth to let mummy count!).

Then Mummy has to comfort Korkor as it is really painful if bite by Orion! Mummy has experience it before.

At night, while Mummy put Topaz to his bed to sleep. mummy was playing with Orion. Mummy "bites" Orion fingers! Orion knows and he pull his fingers backward.

Topaz asked: "Mummy, what are you doing?" he looked so puzzle..
Mummy cheecky and said" Biting didi's fingers"
Topaz was so annoyed and said" No! Mumy don;t do it!"
Mummy asked "Why not? did bite you this morning!"
Topaz very serious and said" It is alright, Mummy. It is fine! Don;t bite didi!"
Mummy continued: "But did bite you, so I also must bite didi!!"
Topaz said: Mummy, you taught is wrong! Cannot bite didi!!"

Hee... so Mummy has learnt lesson from Topaz Ta Kokor!!

Topaz loves Orion very much that he refused Mummy throw didi away eventhough he complaints didi very naughty!!

Hmmm... what kind of mummy is this? Bite son's fingers and throw him away?? Har!!

May 2009 sunset, sunrise

Topaz always confuse with sunset, sunrise....

It may because he wakes up at 7a.m and it is still "Sunset".... (the sky still dark).

Everyday, before Mummy leaves the house to go to work, he will remind Mummy..

Topaz: Mummy you come back early!!!
Mummy: Ok!
Topaz: Come back when sunrise!!!

?? Sunrise!!That's mean Mummy can only come back in the morning?

Mummy: Sunrise?
Topaz: Yes! Sunrise! beore the sky is dark!
Mummy: Ok. I will come back fast fast.
Topaz: No! It is wrong!
Mummy: Wrong?
Topaz: Coma back fast when no traffic and slow when traffic jam!
Mummy:...hmm... ok.

15.06.2009-I know why mummy change job

Mummy started her new job on 15.06.2009 after worked with the ex firm for 6 1/2 years.

Mummy was getting ready to go to work for the first day. It was about 7.20a.m. and it was bit late as Mummy has to travel to KL from PJ.

While Mummy rushed to go out from the house, Mummy over heard the conversation between Mama and Topaz.

Mama: Mummy is going to work in a new company. She has changed job.
Topaz: Change Job? Why?
Mama: hmm.. because...
Topaz : Har! I know why!!
Mama: Why?
Topaz: Old job not much work to do, cannot pay mummy well. The new job has more work to do
so they can pay mummy well!!

Mummy really no comment on this.... :-(

05-06-2009 ZOO

Daddy and Mummy were on leave on 5/6/2009 to bring Topaz to Zoo Negara.

Topaz can recognise A-Z but not word. He can only spell:
COCONUT and TOPAZ.

ZOO is the third word that he now know how to spell after the Zoo's trip. He is now making noise wants to go to ZOO and not Zoo.

Even daddy and Mummy have warned him not to go too near to the animals. He always said : "I am strong!! I can fight with all the animal!!" he showed the actions of fighting!

However, when we bring him near the animals, even cows, he was so scared and dare not go near the animals.

When we saw cows....
Mummy: Why so scared?
Topaz: The animals are big!
Mummy: But you are strong and can fight with all the animals?

Mummy likes to tease with Topaz...
Topaz: But they are very tall and big!!

When we saw Zebras....
Mummy: Let's go near the Zebras
Topaz: NO!!!
Mummy: Why? You scared?

Hee....again, Mummy teased Topaz.
Topaz: No! I can fight... but there is a big drain there! We cannot go near the Zebra!!! Let's go!
Topaz has 1001 excuses for thing that he does not want to do....

We visited almost all the animals in the Zoo except those houses doing renovation and some even went for school holiday like penguins. We spent almost one whole day and picnic in the Zoo. We had burgers, biscuits, bread and juice with ice under the hot sun for our lunch.

We always watched Multi Animals Show. Parrots and seal lions showed off their telents. Orion was so excited and kept making noise and waved his hand!!
It was a nice trip.

I cannot reach!!

Mummy has registered Topaz for holiday programme for these 2 weeks at Jeriel kokor's kindy. Jeriel Kokor is Topaz's best friend. He is actually Topaz's counsin brother. Topaz loves to play with Jeriel Kokor all the time and Topaz always ask "Is Jeriel Kokor coming?" "Why?" "Why Jeriel Kokor not coming today?I want to play with Jeriel Kokor everyday!!"

Mummy went to pick up Topaz in the Kindy. Jeriel Kokor saw Mummy coming then he took Topaz's bag for him. Topaz came out from the Kindy.

Mummy: "Where are your socks?"
Topaz looked puzzled. He cannot remember where he put his socks.
Jeriel Kokor looked at Topaz and said :"I cannot take for you, you need to take it yourselves!" Jeriel Kokor being a Kokor he brought Topaz around to look for his socks!! What a good kokor!!

Finally, Topaz remember he put his socks in the bag. So he took his sandal and stand in front of the door. This Jeriel Kokor automatically helped this lazy Topaz to wear his sandal!!

Teacher cannot stand this Topaz and said:"You can wear all by yourself!!"
Topaz straighten his hand and said :"I cannot reach!!" he is saying his hands cannot reach his legs so he cannot wear his sandal!!

Mummy asked him in car:"Why you not wearing your sandal all by yourself?"
Topaz:"My hands and legs are sleepy!!"

...ai..... What if he has not this Jeriel Kokor?

I am 1 year old!

Today, Orion is 1 year old. He can walk 1-2 steps without holding and has 5 teeth on top and 4 at the bottom. He can wave good bye and fly kiss (but only the sound, his kiss can "fly" on good mood mode only)

Orion has high fever on last Sunday. Orion was so sleepy and sleep almost all the time. He is 7.8kg to 8.1 kg (as weight by 2 different doctors). He is consider a little bit small size....

Orion is now recovering and preparing himself for his birthday party but he has not pass motion since Sunday. Mother is very worry and thinking to bring him to see Dr tomorrow for the third time.

We are planning to have a small party for Orion at home. It will be a small gathering among family members and some close friends. Hope all of us will have great time!

18-5-09-we must do our job first!!

This a message Mummy received from Mama....

Topaz: Where is my food?
Mama: I am waiting for milk to warm (Mama is warning breast milk in a warmer). You ate 2
nuggets.
Topaz: What are you doing?
Mama: I am taking in the clothes.
Topaz: Can we do that later? We must do our job first!!

OUR JOB means to prepare and eat food.

Topaz has promised Mama that he will cooked cold burger for Mama later....

15-5-2009 -I can stand!

Orion can now standing by himself!! This is the new skill he has learnt.

We bought a huge palypen for him (4 boys can play in it). We put a lot of balls in it so Orion can entertain himself while we are busy.

However, this Orion is not happy with this arrangement eapecially after stayed in the playpen for more than 10 mins. He will throw balls out from the playpen to get our attention. Each time he will pick up a ball and stand up and throw. And... he smiles ... (cheecky boy).

Now with this new skill (stand by himself...) he can now pick up 2 balls, stand up and throw 2 balls at the same time.

We are busy to pick up balls around the playpen....

27-02-09

Orion has 8 teeth while he was 8th month old. It seems a lot of teeth are coming out.

Orion has started solid since he was 6th month plus.

Mama told Mummy that Orion's cereal is going to finish. Luckily Mummy can collect 2 packs from a shop at Ara Damansara next Tuesday!! It is not easy to look for organic baby cereal. Mummy has booked 6 packs of another brand cereal since last year and until todate still no stock!!

Orion has tasted banana, apple, tomato, pumpkin, sweet corn, potato, carrot and etc.... hmm it is time for him to taste yogurt and cheese. Mummy and Daddy will be busy to shop around again!

28-2-09 I know how...

After we went out for a whole day, finally reached our home.

Mummy quickly put Orion on bed so Mummy can sort out those vegetable bought from supermarket.

To Mummy's surprise, while put Orion on bed, he is able to sit. Mummy was thinking, maybe cos Mummy put hin in the "right position" so he is able to sit down. So Mummy decided just lay him down and observe. (Mummy had forgotten about those vegetable!!)

Suddenly, Orion used his hands and managed to sit up! Yes he is able to sit down!! Orion was so excited with this new adventure!! Mummy is proud with his little Orion!!

Crab...(part 2)

Mummy: Topaz, do you want to go to Nene's house?
Topaz : Yes!! must take aeroplane to go Nene's house!
Mummy: Clever boy!! What do you want to eat at Nene's house?
Topaz : hmm... crabs! I want to eat crabs!
Mummy: Crabs?
Topaz : Yes! Crabs. Make sure the crabs don't bite me!

hee.. I cannot believe that he can still remember the crabs! Nene now has to hunt not only for Mummy but also for her lovely grandson, Topaz!!

Crab...(part 1)

Mummy loves to eat crabs.

During last year Chinese New Year, Nene (Mummy's mother) bought 3 big crabs to cook for mummy while whole family went back to Kuching!

Topaz was around 2 ++ and he was very very active (actually now he is also very active) and climbed up and down and refused to sleep but to play.

Mummy got an idea to make sure he stayed in the room.

Mummy took the 3 crabs (yee... still alive) which Nene put in a pail, and show them to Topaz. Mummy warned Topaz better go to sleep or the crabs would bite him! Then Mummy put the crab outside the room.

Topaz really did not dare to go out of the room!! But of course he make a lot of noise in the room. He kept asking Mummy what happen to the Crabs? Why the Crabs in the pails and etc....

Ai... it is a very lousy idea as end up I need to answer more questions to him!!

7th month..

11-01-2009

Orion is 7th month today and his 3rd teeth is "coming out"! He is now 7.3 kg! just the right size to carry!

He is now able to crawl slowly and "walks" very fast with the help of walker (which was present by Mummy"s colleague when gave birth to Topaz Kor Kor!)

He loves to "walk" over to the mirror near maindoor and smile at the baby in the mirror!

Chinese New year is coming. We are busy of preparing for it. Topaz suddenly come to me after Mama bathed him.

Topaz : Mummy... Amber does not want to hold my hand.. (sadly)..
Mummy : Why?
Topaz : I gave her my hand but she does not want to hold my hand... She likes another boy....

Hee.. cannot believe that Topaz has been "rejected" by a girl! All the teachers love him so much that want to be his "girlfriend"!! And, he loves his teachers very mush as well!

Christmas lunch 21-12-2008 (Part Two)

I was informed of this by my colleague, Emily. Of course, it is about Topaz.

While we were celebrating our Christmas lunch together with my colleagues at Sunway.

All of my colleagues were busy to take care of Topaz and Orion. On the other hand, me and Joel were busy enjoying our meal.

Topaz was following Emily to play bubble!! Emily was so busy blowing bubble for him. It was prepared for Byrian (Chuah's only son) to play with Topaz. Unfortunately, he did not turn up. Topaz was so sad. Luckily Emily was around to entertain him.

While they were playing outside the restaurant, Topaz saw a dolphin's statute. He pointed at the dolphin's fin and asked Emily

Topaz: What is it?
Emily: It is fin.
Topaz: Why got fin?
Emily: So dolphin can swim!
Topaz: No!!! It can not swim. It is dead.
Emily: hm.......

Poor Emily....

Back to Kindy-Part Three-06-01-2009

All of us are very curious what's the "Yellow Monster". We thought it was the famous "Yellow Man"...but of course he and his daddy like the Yellow Man very much (they think it is cute).

The next day, when Mama (Topaz's grand mother) sent Topaz to kindy. It was Ms Teresa who take Topaz down from Mama's car...hee golden opportunity.

After checked with Ms Teresa, the "Yellow Monster" was actually a puppet. His class was playing puppet show!!

Topaz was actually scared of Puppet when he was young (he is a big boy now...even he is 3 ++...he even told me "I am big boy now. See!!!" then he stood still and let me see how big boy he is....).

Back to Kindy-Part Two-05-01-2009

Me and Mama (Topaz's grandmother) were tried to find out what was happened in Kindy after I dropped him. Whether he cried like other children or being so brave...

Mummy: How was your school?
Topaz : Good.
Mummy : Do you like to go to school?
Topaz : Yes!!
Mummy: You got cried in school?
Topaz : yes...(said softly)
Mummy: Why ( I was so surprised to hear that!!)
Topaz : Got yellow Monster!!!
Mummy : What?!!?? Yellow Monster??
Topaz : Yes!!!
Mummy : Then how?
Topaz : Me Teresa (one of the teachers, used to be his "girl friend") rescued me...
Mummy: hmmm...how did she rescue you?
Topaz: She took photo with me.
Mummy:...???hmmm...took photo?
Topaz: Yes!!!
Mummy: can you show me the photo?
Topaz: Cannot!!!
Mummy :Why?
Topaz: Because the yeloow Monster will bite the photo....
Topaz: Correct!! The yellow Monster will bite the photo...

Oh no...what happen to Topaz in school? what was the yellow monster? hmmm must find out from Ms Teresa....

Back to Kindy-Part One 05-01-2009

Today is the 1st day school for all the students after long holiday and of course included Topaz. He will be in the 4 year old class.

Last night he was so excited to get ready for school. He slept at 10 p.m. while during his school holiday he slept at around 12 a.m. or even later!!

As I promised to him earlier, I am sending him to school today.

I was expected to go to work late as may need to accompany him in the kindy as he may not used to it after long holiday and there will be new class teacher.

While I nearby the kindy and I was looking for car park, Topaz said to me,

Topaz: Mummy, just drop me at there...( he was pointing at the school gate) I can go in all by
myself.

Mummy: You don't need me to bring you in?

Topaz : No. put me down after the gate.

While I drove my car in the kindy's compound, a lot of teachers were waiting for students at the corridor included his previous class teach Ms Rose. All of them were so happy to see Topaz and welcome him back to school! Ms Rose came to take him from my car.

I left the kindy and reached office at 8 a.m.!!!

I feel happy that he has grown up. But, on the other hand, I feel sad that he does not need me around all the time. I really miss the time he cried while I left home to work and ran toward me when saw me home after work ( eventhough he does welcome me home nowaday).
